“This very physical work combines expressive movement, original music and a non-traditional approach to spoken text. (…) Animal Exitus challenges the audience and demands from them a certain degree of preparedness and awareness. The viewer must definitely be open to experimental theatre. The hour-long cascade of conceptually rich images and words can be hard to watch, but the essence of the important themes resonates with everyone. This unconventional production offers a very authentic experience.”
(J. Mücková, Czech Television, 11. 6. 2014)

Shock, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance or resignation. Those are five stages human beings undergo in the face of a trauma. “Trauma” is Greek for injury or wound. And one of the most painful wounds in our life is birth – in a way an expulsion from unity. The idea of our death or the death of our loved ones is close to this traumatic interpretation. No rational thinking at the beginning and the end of our journey, just an instinct turning us into ANIMAL EXITUS.
